Oplyr is one window for building with AI. You connect Claude Code and Codex on your own logins, and they stop being two tools that have never met. They share one Brain and answer each other in one room, and every change they propose waits for your yes.

What it does

Everything happens on your own Mac. Your agents share one local Brain that fills itself as you work and never compacts away. It keeps your decisions and where you left off, and it can start from the memory you already built up in those tools, so switching over does not mean starting again. Mention two agents in one message and they answer in turn, each reading the other.

Every edit arrives as a diff with its plan beside it. You can ask about it before you decide, then approve it or send it back. A living map shows every file and what it does, in plain words, as a tree or as a graph. Your project’s docs open in the same window. A real terminal stays alive while you switch screens. You can talk to your agents, or hold the right Option key and dictate into any app on your Mac, and the speech is turned into text on the machine. Your calendar sits in the same window too, with a nudge before every call, and your own music plays while you work.

Why it exists

AI writes a lot of the code now. The scarce thing is staying the one who decides. Most tools race toward “just let it run.” Oplyr is the opposite bet: as models get more capable, durable memory and a calm local place where you decide what ships get rarer, and more valuable.

What never changes

Your code and your Brain stay on your machine, and so does your voice. We never receive them. Nothing changes until you say yes. The app goes online for a short list of things. Your own AI tools, on your own accounts, as they do today. The speech models, downloaded once, so that speech can run on your Mac. Your Google Calendar and your own YouTube playlists, if you connect them for Meetings and Music, read-only and only on your behalf. A check for new versions. And a bug report, only when you write one and press send. The privacy policy has the detail.

The product at oplyr.com is a developer app for AI-assisted coding, nothing else. It never runs your code on our servers and never takes custody of your provider logins.

Where it’s headed

Early access ships the whole window, Meetings and Music included. Codex and Claude Code are live. GitHub and Gemini are next, starting with a Brain a whole team can share through a repository it already owns. Windows and Linux come after that. We make it dependable before we widen it.

Who’s building it

One independent, unfunded builder who uses Oplyr every day for real work, and has been refining it slowly since December 2025, one release at a time. The story says why it took that long. If the thesis resonates, get in and say what’s wrong.
