Oplyr is a macOS app that gives the AI coding agents you already use, like Codex, Claude Code, and more soon, a single home. You connect them, direct the active one by voice or text, and review every change as a diff before it touches your repo. It runs on your machine, and it's free for developers.

Why we built it

AI can write a lot of code now. The scarce thing is staying in control of it. Most tools push toward auto-merge and “just let it run.” We're betting the other way: the more capable the models get, the more valuable it is to keep a calm, local place where you decide what ships. Fewer scattered chat tabs and re-explained repos, one cockpit where the work lives, the context stays, and nothing lands without your say-so. That's the golden era of coding we want back.

What Oplyr is

A desktop workspace for software developers who work with AI coding tools and want a calmer, more trustworthy way to run them. It focuses on three things: keeping context and execution local to your machine, letting you switch freely between agents without starting over, and making every change reviewable before it is written. Speech-to-text runs on-device, so your voice never leaves your Mac.

What Oplyr is not

Oplyr is not a home-management app, a marketplace, or a consumer-services platform. The official Oplyr product at oplyr.com is a developer app for AI-assisted coding. It also does not run your code on our servers or take custody of your provider credentials.

Where it's headed

The beta nails a trustworthy coding loop. From there, Oplyr is growing into a durable home for your work, with a shared memory so agents stop working in isolation, a note-taker built for engineers, and more. We build the core loop to be dependable before we expand.

Status & pricing

Oplyr is in invite-only beta, starting with macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later on Apple Silicon. It is free during the beta. Windows and Linux may follow after the Mac beta validates demand.
