The macOS build is signed and notarized by Apple — it opens right away, with no “unidentified developer” warning. Free, no account, and nothing leaves your Mac.

How the beta works

Oplyr is invite-only for now, so seats go to people we can support well. Here's the whole path from here to running the app.

  1. 1

    Request access

Tell us how you code. We're opening seats to developers who live in AI coding tools every day.

  2. 2

    Get your invite

When a seat opens, we email you a personal, one-click download link. No account to create.

  3. 3

    Download and go

It's signed and notarized by Apple, so it opens on first launch. Connect an agent and start working.

What you'll need

Voice and speech-to-text run privately on your Mac and are tuned for Apple Silicon, so Oplyr needs an Apple Silicon Mac. There is no Intel build.

Chip
Apple Silicon (M1 or later)
Operating system
macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later
Memory
8 GB minimum, 16 GB recommended
Disk
~2 GB free (app + local voice processing)
Network
Online for provider CLIs, speech-to-text runs fully offline

Not sure about your Mac? Open the Apple menu → About This Mac. A “Chip” starting with Apple M means you're good. A “Processor: Intel” line is not supported.

    • Reliable voice — the mic no longer drops after a few turns.
    • Agents act in one turn — ask for a change and it lands straight in the diff, no second “go ahead” needed.
    • Pick a model and its reasoning effort per agent, from the toolbar or Settings.
    • Rebuilt Brain canvas — memories cluster by type on a fluid, draggable graph.
    • Reset now wipes everything, including the Brain, for a truly fresh start.
    • Automatic updates — from here on, new versions install themselves.
    • Signed and notarized by Apple.
